About the role
As a Sales Data Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing revenue performance across the full client and partner lifecycle—from initial onboarding and deal setup through monthly usage reporting and revenue recognition.
This role is highly collaborative and client and partner-facing, requiring close coordination with external platform partners and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate data exchange, transparency, and operational excellence. You will help drive improvements in revenue reporting compliance, processing, pipeline integrity, and optimization solutions while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with client/partner organizations.
Role & Responsibilities Interface directly with clients and partner organizations to troubleshoot discrepancies, clarify reporting logic, and ensure alignment on usage data and revenue outputs
Develop a deep understanding of client/partner-specific pricing models, contractual terms, and data structures to ensure accurate revenue processing and reporting
Serve as a key operational point of contact for external clients and partners , supporting ongoing data validation, issue resolution, and alignment on reporting expectations and timelines
Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, Operations) and external client/partner teams to translate business, client, and partner inquiries into actionable analysis and solutions
Analyze revenue usage pipeline performance across platform partners to identify data discrepancies, revenue leakage, compliance risks, and optimization opportunities
Coordinate with platform partners to establish and maintain API/data connections , improving timeliness, accuracy, and scalability of data transfers
Clean, validate, and integrate multi-source datasets (internal and client/partner-provided) to improve data accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness
Support monthly revenue operations processes, ensuring on-time, accurate delivery of client/partner revenue reporting within defined SLAs
Build and deliver clear, client/partner-ready reporting outputs and internal summaries that communicate performance, risks, and opportunities
Work with team leaders to create compelling narratives and presentations that explain analytical findings, including client/partner-related impacts, risks, and recommendations
Proactively identify opportunities to improve client/partner onboarding, reporting workflows, and communication processes to reduce friction and enhance client/partner experience
Contribute to the design and automation of scalable revenue data pipelines and workflows to support growth in client/partner complexity and volume
Effectively operate in a fast-paced, client/partner-driven environment , managing multiple priorities and external dependencies
Required Qualifications Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients and partners , including explaining technical concepts in business terms
Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients and partner stakeholders and manage ongoing communications professionally
Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy in a client/partner-facing, SLA-driven environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to connect analysis directly to revenue impact, client/partner performance, and business outcomes
Experience working cross-functionally while managing client and partner dependencies and timelines
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex client and partner data and revenue structures
Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn Acxiom’s digital products and the broader client/partner ecosystem
Bachelor’s degree or minimum one year of related experience (Accounting, Computer Science, or related quantitative field preferred)
Experience working with large, multi-source datasets and applying strong data quality practices
Ability to build dashboards and communicate insights through business intelligence tools
Preferred Attributes Experience working within the digital advertising ecosystem (DMPs, DSPs, Advanced TV, Programmatic platforms)
Familiarity with client onboarding, data integration, and revenue-sharing models
Experience collaborating with external partners or clients in an operational, analytical, or account support capacity
Ability to identify process improvements that enhance both internal efficiency and external client/partner experience
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple client/partner workflows simultaneously
Experience supporting end-to-end revenue management, including pricing, pipeline analytics, and optimization
Knowledge of revenue operations and client & partner-driven revenue models
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive operational improvements that benefit both Acxiom and its clients and partners
