About the role
Assistant CoachA position has been declared open in the Weber School District at Roy Jr High School for an Assistant Coach. Job Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to work with students, community and peers and promote a positive manner in bringing all these groups together. Secondary coaching experience is desired. Ability to motivate and inspire kids to be academic athletes and to teach them fundamental skills. All conditions being equal, a certified employee of the District or an individual who has passed the State Athletic Certification program will be given priority. Individuals must complete a background check prior to starting to coach. Varsity or collegiate level experience preferred. Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
