About the role

Get a thrill saving the company money / bringing in a service better suited for the business? Does that happen to be within a healthcare setting here in Maryland? We are searching for a Procurement Manager for a growing healthcare client in Anne Arundel County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.
Responsibilities: Procure services / parts /materials at negotiated rate Work GPOs and local contracts for 10 subsidiaries Inventory management, order controlling, partnering with facilities Working through New Site Checklist (HVAC, Watercooler, pest control, etc)Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery to our customers Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy Oversee and support purchasing staff (1)
Qualifications: 4+ years' of negotiation experience 4+ years' of purchasing experience Healthcare industry experience required Bachelor's preferred Supervision / leadership experience preferred***Hybrid Role - 3 days in / 2 remote.
