Role Description:
This is a contracted, full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Mooresville, NC, with the possibility of direct hire in 3-6 months. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing projects for medical implant products, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and customer requirements are met. Daily responsibilities include managing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with multiple departments, and resolving issues that may impact delivery or quality. The role involves communicating project status to internal stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation, and driving continuous improvement in processes and workflows. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to support rapid prototyping, new product launches, and ongoing production initiatives.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and risk management. Project management certification is preferred. Relevant experience in manufacturing, medical devices, or precision machining is highly beneficial. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality. Ability to work on-site in Mooresville, NC and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining project timelines and deliverables. Experience coordinating projects across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams. Ability to proactively identify project risks, obstacles, and resource constraints and drive issues toward timely resolution. Strong follow-through and accountability, with the ability to track action items, communicate project status, and ensure commitments are completed on schedule. Experience supporting new product introductions, product launches, or manufacturing-related project implementations is preferred.
