About the role

The Royalty Transplant Foundation is seeking a dedicated and organized Volunteer Board Secretary to join our Board of Directors. Founded by a two-time liver transplant recipient, our nonprofit is committed to ensuring that no transplant patient or family faces the transplant journey alone. As Board Secretary, you will play a vital role in maintaining strong governance and supporting the Board's effectiveness. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the transplant community.
Responsibilities: Record and maintain accurate meeting minutes for all board meetings. Organize board documents, policies, and official records. Assist with meeting agendas and board communications. Help ensure compliance with nonprofit governance best practices. Support the Executive Director and Board Chair with administrative tasks as needed. Participate in strategic planning and organizational decision-making.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
