About the role
Robotics Company is hiring an Electrical Engineer in NYCOur client is building humanoid robots and learning systems for the physical world. Their focus is simple: make light work. They’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who can design and validate the electronics that power reliable, high-performance robotic hardware — from power and sensing to control and interconnects.
What you’ll do:
- Design power, control, sensing, and interconnect electronics
- Develop mixed-signal and high-current PCBs from schematic through bring-upIntegrate electronics with actuators, sensors, and mechanical assemblies
- Test hardware, investigate failures, and prepare designs for manufacture
- What they’re looking for 5+ years developing electronics for robotics or comparable electromechanical systems
- Strong schematic and PCB layout experience
- Working knowledge of power integrity, signal integrity, and embedded communications
- Proven track record taking hardware from design through validation
Bonus points for experience with power electronics and battery systems, embedded firmware, or EMI/EMC and functional safety.
This is an early-stage team in New York building the next generation of humanoid capability for the Healthcare and Hospitality industries.
