Role Description: The Payroll Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and running payroll cycles, reviewing timesheets, verifying pay rates, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role involves calculating and processing garnishments, managing payroll taxes and related filings, and coordinating employee benefits deductions in partnership with HR and accounting teams. The Payroll Administrator will respond to employee payroll inquiries, reconcile payroll reports, maintain payroll records, and support audits and month-end close activities. This position also contributes to improving payroll procedures, implementing system updates, and supporting special projects as needed.
Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in Payroll Administration, including end-to-end payroll processing and compliance. Working knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations. Experience managing Employee Benefits-related payroll deductions and coordinating with HR or benefits providers. Foundational Accounting skills, including reconciliation, reporting, and documentation of payroll-related transactions. Proficiency with payroll software and spreadsheets; strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV, manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a payroll or finance role; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field is beneficial.
