About the role
Powder Coat Prep Associate Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a first shift Powder Coat Prep Associate in the Gahanna, Ohio, area. This is a full time, contract to direct hire position.
Required Skills:
Experience preparing parts for in a manufacturing/job shop environment. Ability to read prints/schematics to follow and retain instructions. Work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Taping/masking parts with heat-resistant tape; plugging/capping.
Use of Exacto knife and fine tactical skills.
Attention to detail and information retention.
Loading/unloading conveyor line: Physically able to meet demands: stretching, reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; average part weight is 1-20 lbs.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Familiarity with hand tools; ISO knowledge is helpful.
