Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for an Information System Security Manager. The individual in this position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining information security policies, standards, and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include performing risk assessments, managing information assurance efforts, monitoring network security, overseeing configuration management processes, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations. Additionally, the Information System Security Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage security incidents and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Information Security principles and practices Experience with Configuration Management to ensure system integrity and proper implementation of controls Strong knowledge in Network Security, including threat identification and risk mitigation Understanding of Information Assurance to protect data integrity and confidentiality Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field preferred Experience with US Army cARMY (or other DoW cloud environments) preferred
