About the role
- Prior experience as an immigration paralegal, with demonstrated experience in both affirmative and defensive asylum cases, is required.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Strong knowledge of USCIS and EOIR procedures, immigration forms, and filing requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with attorneys and other team members.
- Experience with Clio or similar legal case management software is preferred.
- Compensation and Schedule:$35.00 per hour, starting compensation, with potential for future increases
- Approximately 10 hours per week to start.
- Choose your own working hours, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. No weekend work.100% On-Site – Brooklyn, NY -- all work must be performed at our office. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
