About the role
- Our MCP-based integration layer and connectors to church management systems (Planning Center, Breeze, CCB, and others), including the connector management experience for self-serve customers.
- Product tiering infrastructure: usage credits and metering, connector limits, seat management for the Ediphai app, and clean upgrade paths from Starter to Enterprise.
- Agentic features — live AI capability over church data, with the usage controls and guardrails that let us bundle it confidently into entry-tier pricing.
- The Ediphai Console and the intelligence surfaces behind it: engagement, giving, retention, and growth insight.
- Platform depth that defines our competitive moat: semantic and matching layers, role-based access control, and team/multi-site support for larger churches.
- Implementation automation that keeps onboarding under 30 days without adding services headcount.
- Three to five-plus years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production SaaS.
- Strong in TypeScript and/or Python, modern web frameworks, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on with LLM-powered features, agent frameworks, or MCP — or demonstrably fast at picking them up.
- Experienced with third-party integrations and the unglamorous reality of other people’s data.
- Self-directed and comfortable with startup pace: small team, real customers, visible impact.
- Motivated by Ediphai’s mission of serving churches and spiritual formation. Compensation
- $80,000 annually plus healthcare and benefits; equity participation available.
- Full-time start targeted January 2027 (earlier start possible for the right candidate).
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
