Production Scheduler Phelps Pet Products is a highly regarded branded and contract manufacturer of specialty meat-based pet treats. We are looking for a motivated, self-directed, and capable Production Scheduler who will collaborate with our sales, operations, and finance teams and use data analysis to ensure we are producing according to forecast and meeting our growing customer demands. The person would join a highly collaborative headquarters team that helps develop, market, and sell products in over 50,000 retail stores throughout North America. Strong Excel and ERP/data warehouse experience is important to success, as is the ability to "anticipate, ask questions, and be willing to wear many "hats" to help the Company meet/exceed customer expectations. A top-notch Production Scheduler should possess a strong attention to detail and be able to organize, identify, and interpret key data to help the company optimize its investment in inventory to support the business growth. The position will be dual based in our headquarters office in Rockford, Illinois and new manufacturing plant in Janesville, WIQualifications Previous background in supply chain management and logistics Experience with ERP systems. Skilled in data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others. Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and process improvement methodologies. Knowledge of demand planning and procurement strategies
