Spring Manufacturing Operations Specialist Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-focused professional to support finishing and secondary operations for small metal parts and springs. Role Snapshot Hands-on production role working with small components. Mix of manual operations and simple machine work. Quality-driven environment with clear work instructions.
Essential Functions: Execute secondary processes: bending, trimming, hand-winding, punch press tasks, and pre-setting. Operate hand tools, fixtures, presses, and production equipment with a safety-first mindset. Inspect for correct bends, hooks, welds, dimensions, and overall conformity. Utilize basic measuring and inspection tools to validate specifications. Follow job travelers, work instructions, and customer specs without deviation. Accurately count output and complete all required production records. Escalate quality concerns to a supervisor or the Quality team promptly. Comply with all PPE and safety procedures.
Qualifications: Reliable attendance; strong personal accountability. High attention to detail and comfort working with small parts. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to follow verbal/written directions and count accurately. Eager to learn various production processes. Comfortable in a manufacturing setting. Capable of communicating basic work information in English. Previous manufacturing experience helpful but not required. Work Schedule Full-Time 1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities Available
