About the role
To support student success through research and reference services, the part-time Reference Librarian will provide high-quality assistance to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students remotely, working Pacific Time hours and engaging in consultations, webinars, and instructional sessions.
Key responsibilities:
Provide reference and research support through various communication channels including chat, text, phone, and email
Conduct one-on-one consultations and support webinars and instructional sessions for students
Create an exceptional online library experience that promotes student achievement and lifelong learning
Required qualifications:
Master's degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution
3+ years of professional librarian experience
Experience in academic libraries and/or online library services preferred
Strong reference, research, and customer service skills
Familiarity with Springshare Lib Answers is a plus
