About the role
Pharmacist Primary Location: Wilkes Barre, PAV-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Pharmacist for our premier client Wilkes Barre, PA
Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures. Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc.
- Ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.
- Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
- Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files.
- Identify patient?s drug-related problems and effectively communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners. Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities:
Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters. Compound medications for external or internal use. Interested?
