About the role
Meridian Business LLC is seeking a talented and energetic Senior Consultant to implement and improve NetSuite operations processes for our clients. This individual will bring NetSuite implementation experience, operational process knowledge, and project leadership skills to support our growing practice. The ideal candidate has exceptional client relationship skills and deep experience helping organizations assess, design, and implement NetSuite solutions that improve operational performance. We are especially interested in candidates with a strong manufacturing background, either from prior consulting experience or direct hands-on experience using NetSuite in a manufacturing environment. A successful Senior Operations Consultant will be self-motivated, analytical, and comfortable translating complex operational requirements into practical NetSuite solutions. This role is for any of our locations: Kansas City (hybrid), Omaha (hybrid), Denver (remote), Dallas (remote), Des Moines (remote), St. Louis (remote), or our other Midwest locations. CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES A Senior Consultant supports and leads multiple NetSuite initiatives and may be focused either on implementations or ongoing Managed Services. They work closely with client leadership teams, advise on leading operational practices, mentor consultants, analyze and present client deliverables, and foster strong client relationships. To accomplish this, they will successfully: Work with consulting teams and client personnel to assess current operations processes, system usage, controls, and reporting needs to identify opportunities for improvement Develop and document business requirements, process designs, procedures, data migration needs, integrations, and reporting requirements related to NetSuite operations processes Configure NetSuite to support operational requirements across areas such as procurement, inventory, order management, manufacturing, warehouse management, and fulfillment processes Develop and execute test scenarios to confirm NetSuite supports operational workflows and business requirements as designed Create operational reports, dashboards, saved searches, and performance analyses that support decision-making and process visibility Utilize project management skills to meet deadlines and budgets Monitor client projects and resolve issues to keep projects moving forward REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE 2-3+ years’ experience in NetSuite consulting, ERP implementation, or related operations technology roles Participation in one or more full-cycle NetSuite implementations, preferably with operations or manufacturing scope Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory, procurement, order management, and fulfillment processes Ability to identify practical ways to improve operational processes, controls, reporting, and system adoption Demonstrated ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency Technical background and experience configuring or using ERP systems to support operations and manufacturing functions Intelligent, motivated, and competitive with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” attitude Exceptional organization, time management, and prioritizing skills Strong business judgment, and decision making skills DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Prior consulting experience with manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain clients Direct experience using NetSuite in a manufacturing environment Experience with NetSuite manufacturing functionality, inventory management, warehouse management, work orders, assemblies, demand planning, and other related operational modules ABOUT MERIDIAN Meridian Business LLC is a leading NetSuite Solution Partner with primary offices in Overland Park, KS, Omaha, NE, and Denver, CO serving clients nationally.
