About the role

Project Manager/Scrum MasterOur client is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead a strategic transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, agile methodologies, and experience in migrating Legacy / On-Prem applications to the cloud.Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Oversee and manage the transformation/migration project from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.Agile Methodologies: Implement and promote Agile practices and principles, facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and QA testers, fostering collaboration and communication.Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns promptly.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of quality are maintained throughout the project lifecycle, conducting regular reviews and audits.Change Management: Facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruptions by managing the change process effectively.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue logs.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree is requiredCertification: CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certifications is required and PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plusExperience:Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience in an IT environment and 2-3 in handling or managing cloud migration projects.Strong background in migrating Legacy / On-Prem applications to the cloud.Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Azure is a plus.Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
