Associate Brand Manager — Creativity for Kids BrandFaber-Castell USA | Independence, OhioHybrid schedule: On-site Tuesday–Thursday Help bring creative play to life. Faber-Castell USA is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to help shape and grow the Creativity for Kids portfolio, turning consumer insights and retail opportunities into compelling products.
About the Role:
The Associate Brand Manager will support the Senior Brand Manager, with direct ownership of assigned products and initiatives from line planning through commercialization. This hands-on brand and product management role works closely with Product Development, Graphics, Sales, Licensing, E-commerce and Marketing to bring products to market and support the brand’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Line Planning & Portfolio Management:
Own assigned products and portions of the product line.
Support annual and long-range line planning.
Document the business rationale for assigned products and maintain related line-planning materials.
Maintain accurate product information, line plans and commercialization milestones.
Analyze competitors, category trends, retailer needs and consumer insights to identify portfolio gaps and opportunities for innovation.
Product Development:
Develop product briefs in partnership with the Senior Global Brand Manager.
Translate consumer and retailer opportunities into clear direction for Product Development.
Partner with Product Development to ensure products deliver the intended consumer benefits, price point and retail opportunity.
Drive timely decisions and follow-through at key development milestones.
Ensure each assigned product addresses a clear consumer need and offers a compelling point of difference.
Commercialization & Packaging:
Manage assigned products from concept through retail launch.
Develop product positioning, names, selling points, claims and messaging.
Create packaging briefs and partner with Graphics and Product Development through execution.
Develop product detail page content strategy and asset requirements in partnership with E-commerce.
Ensure Sales, E-commerce and Marketing have the information and assets needed for successful launches.
Manage commercialization timelines and proactively identify risks, gaps and decisions requiring escalation.
Licensing:
Manage day-to-day workflows for assigned licensed products.
Coordinate concept, product, packaging and marketing submissions and approvals.
Maintain approval timelines and follow up with licensors and internal teams.
Ensure licensed products thoughtfully integrate the licensed brand or characters with the Creativity for Kids play experience.
Marketing & Launch Planning:
Support marketing plans for assigned product platforms and individual products.
Translate product strategy into clear launch objectives, messaging and asset requirements.
Brief social media, content, E-commerce, public relations and other partners on assigned launches.
Support sales presentations, retailer meetings and product storytelling.
Review product performance and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Development, commercialization and licensing milestones stay on track.
Packaging and digital content clearly communicate each product’s value.
Cross-functional teams receive timely direction, information and assets.
Assigned initiatives move forward independently, with major strategic decisions escalated appropriately.
What You BringAt least 2 years of experience in brand management, product marketing, product management or a related consumer products role.
Experience supporting products from concept through launch.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep cross-functional teams aligned.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed, hands-on execution.
Experience with packaging, product positioning and commercialization.
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in toys, crafts, children’s products or licensing is preferred.
