About Us: At Alro Machine Company, we build high-quality components for the Aerospace field. We pride ourselves on precision, innovation, and a clean, modern shop environment. We are looking for a top-tier, 1st Class 4 & 5-Axis Machinist to join our talented team.
What You Will Do: Set up, program, and operate 4 & 5-axis CNC milling centers. Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. Perform complex machine setups using custom fixtures and advanced tooling. Edit G-code and optimize programs at the machine to improve efficiency. Inspect your own parts using precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, height gauges to ensure tight tolerances are met. Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain a safe, clean workstation.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience setting up and operating 4 & 5-axis CNC machines.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of G-code, advanced tooling, and speed/feed optimization. Experience with Fanuc controls is highly preferred. Precision: Ability to hold tight tolerances. Blueprint Literacy: Expert knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Mindset: A problem-solver with a strong attention to detail who takes pride in craftsmanship.
