This role involves managing a case load of 8-15 procedures per day in the hospital Endoscopy Suite and seeing approximately 30 patients daily in the clinical office. The position features a standard clinical schedule, light call taken from home, and access to modern equipment including Olympus scopes and the Provation Medical Documentation System. Practice Info Single practice location at SOMC Gastroenterology Associates located in Portsmouth, OH Hospital Endoscopy Suite 2 minute walk from clinic Staffing includes 1 physician, 2 NPs, 1 Service Line Manager, 1 Office Manager, 2 LPNs, and 3 MOAs Case load of 8-15 procedures per day in Endo Suite and 30 patients per day in clinical office Equipped with Olympus scopes and video equipment, Olympus 190 adult and pediatric scopes, High resolution esophageal manometry, Bravo pH, and Rapid Pillcam Utilizes Provation Medical Documentation System Facility features 5 large endo suites (former OR rooms) and 8 exam rooms in office Procedures include Bread & Butter Shift & Schedule Clinical office is open M-TH 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Light call - can take call from home Rarely need to come in for emergent cases
