Streamlines and integrates the operational infrastructure, develops the team into a cohesive integrated high-performing system of resources, leads the business planning and implementation, and oversees performance.Works closely with the Division of Finance and Administration in the management of budgets, information technology, and contracting for services. Works closely with HWCOM Human Resources in the recruitment, compensation, retention, and labor relations of staff within the Office of Academic Affairs.Resolves resource allocation challenges by ensuring that the Office of Academic Affairs is fully integrated to achieve economies of scale while at the same time ensuring that program objectives are met.Works collaboratively with faculty and administrators to prepare and submit an annual operational budget for review and approval. Manages the Office of Academic Affairs effectively within an allocated budget and reports accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.Develops and implements processes and procedures to standardize operations, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.Oversees the integration of innovative technologies to improve operational systems, data management, and decision-making processes.Leads risk management efforts to identify, analyze, and mitigate operational risks, ensuring continuity of operations and long-term stability.Facilitates strategic planning initiatives, ensuring alignment of operational goals with the broader institutional mission and priorities.Provides leadership in workforce planning to address staffing needs, succession planning, and resource optimization. Ensures talent acquisition, retention, and compensation processes meet institutional needs.Develops robust reporting systems to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate updates on operational performance, budget management, and key initiatives. Ensures the establishment and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and identify opportunities for improvement.Enhances communication channels to ensure transparency and alignment with strategic priorities. Facilitates interdepartmental collaboration to improve resource-sharing, strengthen partnerships, and support institutional success.Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in areas of Business Administration, Finance or related field and 10 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in areas of Business Administration, Finance or related field and 12 years of experience.
