About the role

Attendant/Cashier The Attendant/Cashier is responsible for all point of sale and supporting transactions with internal and external Food and Beverage customers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to: Takes guests orders in a timely fashion Responsible for serving, bussing and streamlining service at table and counter seating Actively up sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains all legal beverage service guidelines
  • Prepares and breaks down service stations in accordance with dining room standards
  • Assists guests with any general casino information, when needed
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English
Competencies:
  • Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
  • Knowledge of spirits, beers, wines, glassware, garnishes and beverage service techniques
  • Knowledge and skill in all check reconciliation procedures including, cash, comps, credit cards, coupons, players club points, vouchers and gift cards
Training Requirements: Previous food server or cashiering experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent lifting and bending
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
