About the role
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public as appropriate.
- Ability to manage own route and delegate effectively.
- Ability to regularly lift/carry/move 50-60 lbs. (maximum of 160 lbs.).Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.).Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and independently.
- Ability to handle wide range of tasks.
- Understand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.
- Physical and Other Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum of four (4) ten (10) hour days Tuesday - Friday. The shifts, end times, and total hours worked may vary depending on the season and quantity of deliveries, sometimes exceeding 10 hours.
- Seeing: 75-100% - must be able to read reports and use handheld computer/tablet. Must be able to read and interpret documentation.
- Hearing 75-100%: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with employees and business contacts and be aware of environment when driving.
- Standing/Walking: 75 - 100%Sitting: 0-14%Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 50-74%Lifting/Pushing/Pulling 75-100%: 50-50lbs up to 160lb. kegs
- Grasping/Feeling/Hand Dexterity: 75 - 100%Driving and Travel: 0-24% : Daily driving to accounts, minimal to no overnight travel.
