About the role
Maintenance - Driver Maintenance - Driver reports to Transportation Supervisor. Employment status is full time with terms of employment for 260 days. The FLSA status is exempt. Qualifications include a valid driver's license, high school graduate or equivalent, 18 years of age or more, and good health, high moral character, and good attendance record.
Essential functions include driving delivery trucks on scheduled and unscheduled trips, loading, hauling, and unloading supplies and equipment, mail, freight, and express and/or other designated items, assuming responsibility for operating a schedule delivery route between the schools and central district activities, writing requests for vehicle repairs and accident reports, picking up and depositing school monies daily, and performing other duties as assigned. Additional working conditions include occasional operation of a vehicle under inclement weather conditions and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed.
