Role snapshot (2nd shift)Lead a fabrication cell, guiding operators day‑to‑day to achieve schedule, quality, and safety targets. Translate blueprints, work orders, and operation sheets into clear, executable tasks. Inspect parts regularly—both visually and dimensionally—using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and squares. Enforce housekeeping and safety; coordinate equipment care and report malfunctions immediately. Coach, train, and cross‑train team members; plan, assign, and direct work to meet demand. Collaborate with the area supervisor to drive teamwork and adherence to company procedures. Support people processes: interviewing, hiring, performance feedback, recognition, discipline, and conflict resolution as needed.
