About the role
- Lead day-to-day offshore decommissioning and abandonment construction activities across assigned projects
- Act as the focal point between Project Management, Asset Holders, Contractors and Offshore Construction TeamsEnsure execution activities are carried out in line with approved scopes of work, drawings, procedures and construction methodologies
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to construction supervisors and contractors throughout offshore campaigns
- Review and approve contractor deliverables across FEED, engineering and project execution phases
- Oversee offshore lifting, rigging, dismantling and removal operations involving jackets, topsides, subsea pipelines and umbilicals
- Ensure full compliance with industry safety, quality and environmental standards
- Support schedule delivery, construction planning and operational risk management across complex offshore scopes
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering or related discipline 15+ years of construction engineering experience within offshore oil & gas projects
- Minimum 8 years focused on offshore decommissioning and abandonment activities
- Strong experience managing large-scale offshore decommissioning projects involving jackets, topsides and subsea infrastructure
- Hands‑on offshore construction and heavy lifting experience
- Strong background in FEED and EPRD projects with contractor management exposure
- Excellent understanding of offshore engineering standards, HSE and quality requirements
- Ability to manage multinational contractor teams within complex offshore environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
