If you bring great energy and love working as part of a team, we want to meet you! We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate is skilled in baking, pastry production, and cake decorating.
Responsibilities: Accurately scale and mix batters, doughs, creams, mousses, fillings, and frostings. Prepare cream or mousse cakes, pies, tarts, individual desserts, petit fours, mini pastries, cookies, specialty desserts, and custom orders. Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion sizes. Follow production schedules and complete orders on time. Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently. Follow food safety and sanitation standards; and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area. Assist with inventory and ingredient ordering, and help supervise pastry staff when needed.
Qualifications: Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or Cake Decorator. Strong baking, mixing, pastry, and cake decorating skills. Experience with mousses, cream cakes, pies, individual desserts, petit fours, and mini pastries. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and organization. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation. Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
