About the role

About the Role: Alibaba.com is looking for a Key Account Manager, Seller Growth to support the growth and success of U.S.-based sellers on our global B2B marketplace. You will work directly with sellers after onboarding, helping them improve their store operations, product quality, platform engagement, and overall business performance. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with merchants and helping them grow through practical, day-to-day support.
What You’ll Do: Manage and support a portfolio of U.S.-based sellers on Alibaba.com. Guide sellers through onboarding, store setup, product listing, and ongoing platform operations. Help sellers improve product selection, storefront quality, buyer engagement, and account performance. Identify seller needs, operational issues, and growth opportunities through regular communication and performance data. Educate sellers on Alibaba.com tools, programs, and best practices. Partner with internal sales, operations, product, and customer support teams to resolve seller issues. Track seller activity and key business metrics and follow up on opportunities to improve seller activation and growth.
What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of experience in account management, seller or merchant operations, e-commerce, customer success, or a related field. Experience working directly with merchants, SMBs, brands, manufacturers, wholesalers, or marketplace sellers. Strong communication and relationship-management skills. Comfortable using data to identify issues and business opportunities. Highly self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment. Experience with e-commerce marketplaces, B2B commerce, or international trade is a plus. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $126,000/year and $234,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
