About the role
Exploration Geologist | Remote + Field Work | Full-time, Direct-Hire | Mining We're partnering with a growing exploration company to find a Mid-to-Senior Exploration Geologist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a field-focused geologist who wants to play a key role in advancing mineral exploration projects across the Western US.
About the Role:
This is a remote-based position with significant field rotations focused primarily in Nevada, with potential work extending into surrounding states (OR, ID, UT, AZ, and occasionally NM/CO/CA). Field rotations follow a 10-on/4-off or 15-on/7-off schedule, with quarterly travel to the company's Colorado office.
What You'll Do:
Conduct field exploration activities including geological mapping, outcrop and rock chip sampling, soil geochemistry, and structural analysis to identify and characterize mineralized targets Manage and interpret drill programs, including core/RC logging, sample QA/QC, and integration of assay results into geological models Analyze and synthesize geochemical, geophysical, and geological datasets to generate and prioritize drill targets Support regulatory, permitting, and technical reporting requirements while maintaining accurate field documentation
What We're Looking For:
5-15 years of experience in mineral exploration, ideally with a gold-focused background Strong field exploration skill set with a genuine passion for boots-on-the-ground work Comfort with extended field rotations and remote work environments Experience across various deposit styles and exploration techniques is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary:
Depends on experience.
