Through more than 50 programs across the borough, we serve people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. MAKE A DIFFERENCE ONE MEAL AT A TIME Our Home Delivered Meals (HDML) Program provides fresh and frozen meals to homebound seniors aged 60+, helping them stay nourished and independent. As an HDML Specialist, you'll do more than deliver mealsyou'll be a daily connection and support for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.
YOUR ROLE INCLUDES: Packaging and safely handling meals Daily meal delivery and route management Light wellness check-ins with clients Vehicle inspections and recordkeeping Reporting client concerns or safety issues Maintaining cleanliness and safety standardsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Valid NYS Driver's License with a clean driving record 3+ years of NYC driving experience Knowledge of Queens roads and NYS traffic laws Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor Strong communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) a plus Physically able to lift 1020 lbs.
