Inventory Control Clerk Redbarn Pet Products was co-founded in 1996 by lifelong friends Jeff Baikie and Howie Bloxam, who met as 12-year-olds on a hockey rink in Canada. We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels to support production efficiency and maximize product availability. This role is responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, preparing inventory reports, and ensuring inventory data accuracy between physical stock and system records. Key responsibilities include conducting weekly physical counts of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory, updating and maintaining accurate inventory records in the system, reconciling discrepancies between physical counts and system data, assisting with quarterly and annual inventory audits, generating inventory reports and communicating stock levels to production and purchasing teams, and performing other related duties as assigned. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certificate in inventory control, accounting, or related field is a plus. Prior experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment, basic math skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software, ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine warehouse duties, regularly required to walk, stand, climb, lift, and carry materials, ability to handle repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
