Full Stack Developer

Overview In this role, you design, build, and maintain web applications and backend services for the CBO tech portfolio. You will work across Python/FastAPI backend and ReactJS frontend to deliver secure, scalable features. You operate in a trunk-based workflow, ensuring small, tested changes and robust documentation. You will collaborate with government engineers and product teams to meet accessibility, performance, and security standards while driving reliable deployments on AWS. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy features for ReactJS frontend and Python/FastAPI backend Build and maintain RESTful APIs with validation, error handling, versioning, and OpenAPI/Swagger docs Develop responsive, accessible interfaces per UX standards and Section 508 requirements Manage PostgreSQL data models, queries, migrations, and stored procedures with a focus on performance Operate in trunk-based development with small, frequent commits and feature flags Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives with CBO engineers and stakeholders Package applications with Docker and deploy containerized workloads to AWS (ECS, EKS, or equivalent)Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities across the stack Write and maintain automated tests (pytest, Jest, React Testing Library) and keep API/docs and architecture records up to date Maintain accurate technical documentation including API docs, data-model diagrams, and architecture decision records Key requirements 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and Docker Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications on AWSExperience with CI/CD pipelines and trunk-based development Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience Collaborative and agile team player Secure coding awareness Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving Python FastAPIReactJS
