About the role

Have a car? Earn extra money driving on your schedule. Eligible new drivers can earn up to $1,000 in sign-on rewards and qualify for a $3,000 earnings guarantee.* Partner with Veyo as an independent contractor in Connecticut, helping people get to appointments. Already a rideshare driver? Drive with Uber, Lyft, DoorDash or another rideshare or delivery app? Add another way to earn with your own car and driving experience. Add daytime driving: Most Veyo trips take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Explore another source of trips during your day. Keep your other apps: Continue driving with Uber or Lyft. Just mark yourself unavailable in Veyo while completing trips for another service. Make each ride matter: Help someone reach an appointment they depend on. A Few Things You Might Be Wondering Do I need a CDL or medical experience? No CDL or EMT qualification is required. Complete Veyo's screening and required training. Can I use my own car? Yes, if it meets Veyo's vehicle requirements and passes inspection. How does pay work? Payments are sent weekly. Rates vary by region, and Veyo does not deduct commissions or fees from its trip rates. Do I have to commit to fixed hours? No. You choose how much you drive. Trip availability varies. Read Veyo's driver FAQs Driver Requirements Be at least 21 years old Have 3 years of driving history in the US Have a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations or accidents in the past three years) Have a valid driver's license Able to pass a background check (no felonies in past seven years) Have valid vehicle insurance and registration Have a 4-door, 2006 or newer vehicle Own an iPhone or Android smartphone Get Started Complete your application, document checks, required screening, vehicle inspection and training. These are non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) trips. *Rewards and earnings guarantees are subject to eligibility requirements. Fares and rewards count toward the guarantee; it is not an additional payment on top of those earnings. View current rewards and full terms for your region, including qualifying trips, timing and acceptance requirements.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
