Requirements:
- DentrixExperienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
- Licensed dental hygienistX-ray / Radiography Certification
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Proficient with Dentrix software
- Knowledge of dental scaling and prophylaxis procedures
- Experience with dental x-ray technology and radiography techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patient-focused with the ability to educate and counsel patients effectively
- Entry-level candidates welcomed
Job Description:
- Perform dental prophylaxis and scaling procedures to maintain oral health of patients
- Conduct patient assessments and provide dental care counseling to promote proper oral hygiene
- Take and evaluate dental x-rays, including bitewing and bisecting angle radiography techniques
- Administer local anesthesia as needed (where applicable)
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix practice management software
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, post-care instructions, and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with the dental team to support quality patient care
