About the role

SUMMARY: ARRAY is in pursuit of an intern who loves cinema, community cultivation and coordination of events! Based at our Los Angeles campus in Historic Filipinotown, our Media Events Intern will be part of an in-house Programming Team that curates dynamic film-centric and storytelling experiences. Dedicated to showcasing inclusive cinema, the Programming Team creates efficiencies across the entire organization related to media capture, guest/audience services, event ticketing, logistics, environmental design and overall usage of space at our creative campus. If you are familiar with the term "elbow grease" and know how to apply that to a work environment then ARRAY might be the place for you. RESPONSIBILITIES: Included but not limited to Capture and edit short-form content (photo/video) from weekly programming events for social, archival and internal use. Organize, label, and manage digital assets for ARRAY programming events. Create assets that highlight programming initiatives, sponsor spotlights and key campus activities. Track internal social media posts, as well as external social media and press mentions. Conduct research related to potential film screenings such as the collection of film stills, clips, talent bios and potential community partners that align with ARRAY’s mission. Assist with theater and venue operations including pre-event setup and post-event breakdown. Track RSVPs and ticketing inventory using internal platforms; assist with guest list management. Learn about and support the creation of programming-related marketing, community curation, social outreach and educational initiatives. Must have availability to work Fridays and Saturdays (evenings sometimes included) during scheduled programming events. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be a college undergraduate or graduate student with general film knowledge and a passion for inclusive storytelling. Basic computer skills are a must. Experience using Canva and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) on Mac and PC is expected. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or CapCut is preferred. Strong written and visual communication skills are essential. Reliable transportation and availability for some evening/weekend events are required. Experience capturing event photos/video or managing digital files is a plus. ORGANIZATIONAL MISSION: ARRAY is a multi-platform arts and social impact collective dedicated to narrative change. The organization catalyzes its work through a quartet of mission-driven entities: the film distribution arm ARRAY Releasing, the content company ARRAY Filmworks, the programming and production hub ARRAY Creative Campus and the non-profit group ARRAY Alliance. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
