Job Description Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Location: Dallas, TX Employment Type: Direct Hire Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 annually Bonus: Discretionary performance-based bonus eligibility Transportation: Transportation stipend provided Position Overview Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a direct hire opportunity in Dallas, TX. This fully onsite role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, supporting employees throughout the employee lifecycle, and contributing to a collaborative, people-focused culture. The Human Resources Generalist will support HR Business Partners across a wide range of human resources functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, HR reporting, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of employment law, experience managing multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional employee support. Key Responsibilities HR Business Partner SupportPartner with HR Business Partners to provide day-to-day support on general HR matters.Assist with employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR best practices.Support performance management processes and talent initiatives.Onboarding & Employee ExperienceCoordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding activities.Support training and professional development initiatives.Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, leave administration, compensation, and workplace concerns.Promote employee engagement through recognition programs, team-building activities, and HR initiatives.HR Operations & ComplianceMaintain accurate employee records in electronic and paper filing systems.Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other applicable requirements.Support audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.HR Analytics & ReportingAnalyze HR metrics and prepare reports that support business and workforce planning.Identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations to improve HR programs and employee experience.Immigration SupportCoordinate with external immigration vendors and legal partners to support employment-based immigration processes.Maintain compliance with applicable immigration documentation and timelines.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Approximately 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist role.Experience supporting employee immigration processes preferred.Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance, including FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, and related regulations.Experience using HRIS systems; UKG experience preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.High attention to detail, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling confidential information.SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred.Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX five days per week.Why Work With Wheeler Staffing Partners Wheeler Staffing Partners is committed to connecting talented professionals with exceptional career opportunities.
