Job Description: This is a full-time, 8-month safety opportunity. Potential for extended and long term work with us based on performance. We need a team of 4 people - so if you and a safety friend, colleague, spouse have experience and/or BCSP certs and have wanted to work together, this may be your chance to join forces and build half the team! Open to creative discussions to fill the roles.* LOCALS PREFERREDJob Summary Field Safety Professional with construction OSHA 1926 experience. We are seeking a safety professional for our client's job-site (Data Center work located in Reno, NV area).Responsibilities Boots on the ground safety professional. You will be identifying hazards in the field and correcting unsafe behavior observed while maintaining a strong field presence. Monitor safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, steel company client and general contractor standards and regulations and company policies. Allocate PPE to workers Observe and report to client safety personnel Attend and contribute to daily foreman tailgate meetings ExperienceBCSP certificate (highly desired) - look, we know experience is more important, the owner customers simply don't care, nor the GCs, they want to see BCSPs more and more. Safetys with a BCSP cert can earn more within our pay range listed below.)OSHA 30 (required)OSHA 510/500 (desired) Subpart R steel erection and/or O&G experience (highly preferred) Microsoft OfficeCPR/1st Aid (required)START DATE: October 19th or soonerAPPROX. DURATION: 8 months+LOCATION: Reno, Nevada PAY RANGE: $40-$60/hr(data centers - 2 projects total)SIGNING BONUS - $500 paid out after 60 days on-siteCOMPLETION BONUS - $1,500 paid out on final paycheck if your work the entire duration of the project (~ 8 months)
