Qualifications: PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program Completion of a 1-year fellowship/residency in health psychology/behavioral medicine or 1 year of relevant clinical experience within the past 4 years No additional certifications required beyond Basic Life Support
Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnose using DSM criteria Provide individual and group therapy; support patients coping with medical conditions or injuries Assist with patient rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care Maintain productivity standards, accurate documentation, and use of clinical systems (e.g., MHS Genesis) Follow infection control, safety, and emergency protocols Participate in peer review, performance improvement, and staff training Support Family Advocacy Program requirements Attend required trainings and meetings; pursue continuing education Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and risk management standards About Company: Since 1984, Professional Performance Development Group (PPDG) has been proudly Serving Heroes by connecting exceptional healthcare professionals with rewarding opportunities across military, federal, and commercial healthcare facilities. The HCW’s shift shall include an uncompensated 30-minute or 1 hour meal break.
