About the role
To support a growing legal team, the full-time Licensed Commercial Attorney will provide business-oriented legal support, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, and advise on healthcare laws while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Provide legal support to Commercial, Market Access, Payer Relations, and Sales teams on various commercial programs and strategic initiatives
Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare laws and regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop legal strategies that align with business objectives and manage associated risksRequired qualificationsJD and licensed to practice law in at least one state and one federal jurisdiction in the U.S
5+ years of experience with commercial agreements, particularly in health law, medical devices, or life sciences
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, and compliance requirements
Experience with commercial and government payer relations is a plus
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment
