Job Title: Vascular Surgeon
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Vascular Surgeon to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years surgical experience with expertise in the surgical and endovascular treatment of all aspects of vascular disease including carotid, aortic, lower extremity, dialysis, venous disease, and shares a passion for quality, innovation, and teamwork. As a Vascular Surgeon, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver top-tier treatment in a patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat vascular diseases affecting arteries, veins, and lymphatic systems, including aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and peripheral arterial disease.
Perform open surgeries, endovascular procedures, and minimally invasive techniques to treat vascular conditions.
Proficient in dialysis creation and maintenance.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in vascular care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital and legal requirements.
Stay updated on the latest advances in vascular surgery and participate in continuing education to maintain board certification.
Qualifications
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery. Licensed to practice in the state of Texas or eligible for Texas medical licensure.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of post-residency/fellowship experience in vascular surgery preferred, but new graduates from fellowship programs are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Proficiency in open vascular surgery, endovascular techniques, and hybrid procedures. Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills. Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and patient care skills with a commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to diverse patient populations.
