The company's award-winning products help users understand their readiness, activity, and sleep quality through the Oura Ring and connected app. What You Will Do Mechanical design and development of cutting‑edge wearable and consumer devices Drive product development with manufacturing partners across Asia, North America, and Europe Build prototypes, test them, and iterate quickly Work with leadership on product roadmap and timelines Requirements 10+ years as a consumer product design engineer, preferably with wearables experience Independent judgment in engineering methods and evaluation 3D CAD expertise (NX or Solidworks) for densely packaged electronics including PCBs, flexes, antennas, enclosures, mechanisms, and batteries Rapid prototyping ability with standard test equipment Materials science and scalable manufacturing knowledge Problem‑solving comfort with ambiguity Technical leadership and mentoring capability Strong communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders Compensation & Benefits Salary (San Francisco): $198,000 – $233,000 Benefits include: Competitive equity packages Health, dental, vision, and mental health coverage Oura Ring + employee discounts 20 PTO days + 13 holidays + 8 wellness days Paid sick and parental leave Important Notes Candidates must be located near San Francisco and able to commit to 3x weekly office presence.
