Supervisor, Rixson Manufacturing

Job Requirements: Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the Paint Line, E-Coat, Buffing, and Arms Assembly departments. Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate defects, implement corrective actions, and reduce scrap and rework. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, and downtime. Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize departmental performance. Conduct employee training, coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as necessary. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to paint application and E-Coat processes.

Education and Experience: Associates degree in a technical field or business management required. B.S. degree in a technical field or business management, preferred. 2+ years of experience in metals machining and electronics manufacturing. Experience in paint systems, coating operations, assembly processes, or finishing operations preferred. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, making effective real time decisions Demonstrated experience with a variety of lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
