Job Opportunity At Davis Furniture Davis Furniture is a family-owned high-end furniture manufacturer who is a leader in contemporary contract furniture. Sales are up, so we are actively seeking new team members to meet the continually growing demand.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect finished furniture for defects or damage prior to packaging
  • Wrap, pad, box, and secure furniture using protective materials
  • Apply correct labels, tags, and shipping documentation
  • Assemble boxes as needed
  • Follow packing specifications and customer-specific requirements
  • Operate hand tools, tape machines, and packaging equipment
  • Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with loading packages onto trucks
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to lift heavy furniture consistently up to 50lbs. Experience in packing and shipping office furniture a plus.
