About the role
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback, including engaging in corrective action conversations, to insure a safe working environment.
- Strategically plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet set targets and deadlines, including strict adherence to established production centerlines.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure seamless production operations.
- Enforce and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Arils manufacturing processes, ensuring uniformity and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and uphold the functionality of equipment, proactively initiating maintenance or repairs as necessary
- Effectively manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to guarantee uninterrupted production.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, cultivating a safety-aware culture within the production team, along with collaborating with Quality control team to ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Observes and enforces safety, GMPs, and Food safety programs and attends appropriate training sessions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiency in the production process.
- Maintain precise production records and reports for review of upper management review regarding comprehensive performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage the Arils facility FMDS (floor management development systems) board and conduct daily meetings.
- Collaborate with the sanitation lead to identify key cleaning areas and implement enhancements to sanitation procedures.
- Assess required workforce and develop a labor model aligned with production requirements.
