About the role

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to serve as Medical Director for the Topeka NICU at Stormont Vail Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas. In this leadership role, you will guide a vital regional program serving rural families while maintaining a full complement of core clinical duties. Join a close-knit, well-established team offering advanced Level III care, a manageable schedule with over 15 days off per month, and robust hospital resources. Practice InfoLevel III, 36-bed NICU equipped to deliver advanced neonatal care High-Frequency Ventilation to manage complex respiratory cases Inhaled Nitric Oxide to support infants with pulmonary hypertension Total Body Cooling to provide neuroprotective therapy for HIEaEEG to enhance neurological monitoring and decision-making Average Daily Census of 25 at Stormont Pediatric subspecialty support including cardiology, neurology general surgery, and endocrinologyNNP coverage at Stormont ensures smooth operations and support Community oriented setting with a private practice feel, yet backed by robust hospital resources Shift & Schedule Combination in-house 24 hour shifts and in-house/from home call Over 15 days off per month
Responsibilities:
