[DIRECT HIRE] TOOL & DIE TECHNICIAN | MANUFACTURING | KCMO |1st Shift Opportunity where you will repair multi-cavity molds, oversee apprentices and perform other related tasks. Large manufacturer in KCMO.$34/hour base (up to $40/hour for top experience), plus shift differential (if applicable) Health Insurance, Dental/Vision, Life Insurance, 401K Opportunities for skill development 1st Shift | 7:30am-3:30pm | M-F, with overtime Responsibilities: Repair and maintain multi-cavity injection molds with hot runner systems. Analyze mold conditions, fabricate/repair parts using machine tools. Fit components to tight tolerances, read blueprints, oversee apprentices. Log repairs, ensure safety and environmental compliance. Minor welding/fabrication Oversee Apprentices Qualifications: High school diploma; 4-year apprenticeship + 4 years experience in tool/mold repair. Hot runners; .0005" tolerances; machine tools; 10-15 yrs typical. Knowledge of trigonometry, machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders). Ability to lift 50-100 lbs; mandatory overtime. EEO
