About the role
People skills + business development + industry expertise. If that combination describes you, you may have the foundation for a successful career in recruiting. Goodwin Recruiting is looking for professionals who want to use their experience differently—helping companies solve critical hiring needs while building their own client portfolio and recruiting business. You’ll work on both sides of the equation: developing relationships with businesses that need talent and identifying professionals who can help those organizations succeed.
The opportunity includes:
- Full-desk recruiting and business development
- Building and managing your own client relationships
- Leveraging your existing industry expertise and professional network
- Extensive training, technology, systems, tools, and ongoing support
- The opportunity to grow your income based on your own production
Prior recruiting experience is valuable but not required. Business acumen, initiative, resilience, communication skills, and the willingness to develop new business are essential.
This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity with commission-based compensation and requires a full-time commitment.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
