The Assistant District Attorney for Child Support in the 26th Judicial District represents the State of Tennessee in Chester, Henderson, and Madison Counties in child support proceedings. Baseline Responsibilities Establishment, Enforcement, and Modifications of Orders Address medical insurance associated with Child Support Orders Prepare and review Tennessee Child Support Worksheets Prepare motions, orders, and other legal documents Appear in court and present evidence, make legal arguments Communicate effectively with staff, clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and affiliates Maintain accurate files, deadlines, and documentation
Minimum Qualifications: Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in the State of Tennessee and, must be able to pass a background check.
