About the role

Oxalis is building its marketing function from the ground up, and we're looking for the person who will own it. This role is for a marketing leader in a fast-growing technology and consulting firm with distinct and emerging business lines. You'll step into a company that has momentum and a clear strategy. What You'll OwnLead execution across three marketing pillars: Industry Authority (thought leadership and SEO across a variety of industries), Partner-Powered Demand (Atlassian and IFS co-marketing, ABM), and Product Market Entry (YardOS GTM) Own the content engine — case studies, vertical guides, executive LinkedIn, conference content — built on the compounding model that's already proven in the maritime segment Run HubSpot as the measurement layer: pipeline attribution, lead scoring, campaign reporting to leadership Drive the YardOS demand generation motion: ABM, webinar series, roadshow coordination, and paid channel experiments Oversee direction of partner marketing activities Serve as a brand protector in all external marketing work through brand standards, messaging review, and GACCS brief governance Build a system that allows for greater investment in marketing activities What Success Looks Like in Year OneBuild and execute a marketing program that measurably supports Oxalis revenue and growth goals across all business lines HubSpot fully instrumented with closed-loop pipeline reporting Content library operational and actively used in sales conversations Principal amplification running — at least two execs with consistent LinkedIn presence A clear, data-backed 2027 marketing investment recommendation delivered to leadership What You Bring 10 years in B2B marketing, ideally in technology consulting, SaaS, or a partner-driven business Proven demand generation experience — you've built pipelines, not just managed campaigns HubSpot fluency (admin-level experience strongly preferred)ABM experience with complex, long-cycle sales Comfort operating in a principal-led selling environment — you understand that in a firm like this, relationships close deals and marketing makes them possible Strong content instincts — you can tell the difference between content that compounds and content that evaporates Experience with partner co-marketing (Atlassian or IFS ecosystem a strong plus) Ability to work without a large team under you — you're the builder, not the manager of builders, at least initially
Nice to Have: Maritime, defense, or federal IT vertical experienceAI governance or GRC market familiarity Experience standing up a marketing function from early stage About OxalisOxalis is an Atlassian and IFS partner and technology consultancy with three business lines and ~$20M in revenue. We're in high-growth mode, we deliver for customers who can't afford to get it wrong, and we're building the internal infrastructure to match our ambition. This is a rare opportunity to own marketing at a firm that has the clients, the partnerships, and the product and just needs the leader. Oxalis hires within defined regional hubs (Austin, PNW, Northern and Southern California, Chicago, New Jersey, National Capital Region). Candidates must live within the hub metro area. We are not a remote-everywhere company.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
