Marketing Specialist West Des Moines - West Des Moines, IA 50266 Overview Position Type Full Time Description Marketing Specialist In medical practice since 1919, Wolfe Eye Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic providing surgical services and vision care throughout Iowa. At Wolfe Eye Clinic, we create Better Vision for a Better Life. Onsite Position based in West Des Moines, IA, with day travel to Wolfe Eye Clinic locations throughout Iowa as needed. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and directing marketing and communications strategies that support organizational growth, patient acquisition, physician outreach, and brand awareness across all Wolfe Eye Clinic Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives and growth annual marketing priorities and develop plans to support clinic growth, service line expansion, and patient engagement. Monitor and evaluate marketing performance metrics and recommend adjustments to maximize effectiveness and return on investment. Develop and manage the annual marketing budget and allocate resources to support organizational priorities. Evaluate and authorize marketing expenditures within approved budget guidelines. Direct the development and implementation of marketing communications, branding initiatives, and public relations activities. Determine messaging strategies and brand standards across all digital, print, and community-facing oversight of website content, digital marketing campaigns, email communications, social media platforms, and online reputation management. Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries, advertising opportunities, and public relations activities. Partner with physicians, operational leaders, Human Resources, and Business Development to identify opportunities that support strategic organizational goals. Serve as an internal consultant on marketing initiatives, patient engagement strategies, recruitment marketing efforts, and community outreach programs. Develop and implement marketing initiatives for new services, locations, and organizational growth opportunities. Direct community relations activities, sponsorships, partnerships, and outreach initiatives across all clinic the planning and execution of promotional events and marketing programs that strengthen brand awareness and community engagement. Represent Wolfe Eye Clinic at community, professional, and industry events as needed. Analyze marketing data and patient acquisition metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and support strategic decision-making. Prepare and present marketing performance reports to leadership and physicians. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field OR Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible marketing experience. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and managing marketing budgets. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills. Experience utilizing marketing analytics and performance data to support business decisions. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing platforms.
